In 2025, the largest celebration of Japanese pop-culture in North America, Anime Expo, featured 900+ artists in the biggest artist alley the convention has seen to date. Over the course of a 33 hour convention means that, if you were to visit every single booth in the artist alley, you would only get roughly 2 minutes to connect with the artist and make a decision about what to purchase. And that 33 hour window is only possible by being at the convention from open to close, never attending any panels or other events. With such a huge roster of stunning artists to browse, decision paralysis is at an all-time high. That is why I am proposing “Traveling Salesman: Artist Alley Edition”. The Traveling Salesman: Artist Alley edition will create an optimized route for those attending Anime Expo and wish to browse artist alley without sacrificing time. By asking for specific interests, personality, and budget, Traveling Salesman: Artist Alley Edition will create a curated list of artists to visit in order to ensure that you are able to get the most out of your artist alley experience.
